Description: This course will help participants in identifying and specifying proper treatment of movement joints in tile and stone installations.

Learning Objectives:

• 1) What is the risk to the tile installation, or occupants, when we do not incorporate room for movement?
• 2) What types of joints can be in a concrete floor, what design function do they serve.
• 3) What types of movement are possible in a tile installation.
• 4) What industry guideline(s) apply and how do you incorporate these into the specification and design of your project.
